WhyMommy was going to join us this weekend, but due to Inflammatory Breast Cancer had to cancel her trip. I can tell you that she was missed. Having roomed with her best friend, I can promise you that she was missed terribly.
Her physical absence did not prevent her from generating conversations in Chicago though. The message is getting out. WhyMommy is using her experience with this most aggressive form of breast cancer to make more people aware of it. And for that, I bow to her.

I just have to say that I LOVED meeting you and getting to hang out with you. You are awesome. And now I have to figure out how to move you to Seattle so we can hang out all the time!!

I have definitely visited her site. Breast cancer has affected my life as well as my mom was diagnosed last October. So I very much understand the need for awareness and how crucial support is!

I sure hope she realizes the level of awareness she has brought to this issue. I had only vaguely heard of it before her. I pray for her healing!
